An Earth Shattering Fart

The story reminded me of Jurassic Park but the ending I didn't understand how the guy did something wrong but I don't see what he did all they did was shoot the T-Rex and take a picture.

In today's presentation the labor we did today was very good and the word dr.preston told us to write down are hopeful, inspirational, formal, sincere.

On the first day of the presentations Satchel presented with big words and good meaning to be Ye quiseveras extra and Elvis and Etzal presented their posters with the quotes Emerson wrote.

My Emerson

The project me, Jaime, and Richard are going to do is a poster with 3 quotes and explain what it means to us. We will get our supplies over the week end.

Author in progress

I did well on explaining the diction,syntax,and theme by explaining them all one at a time. For the other questions I needed a little help until i remembered and wrote.The thing that i struggled with is the extra credit I tried to do it but I think they're wrong but yet I'll have to find out.

My American Voice

When someone is being bullied or in trouble I help that person but I first listen to what is going on then intervene and help the person in trouble. I'll either speak for that person or have to get physical if I have too. If its for family or friends ill help in a heartbeat with no doubt. If its with someone I don't know ill hesitate a little because I might not know what the problem is and help the wrong person. But as an American ill help people in need when I can.

Draft letter to a mentor

The people that can help me with school work is teachers but some teachers don't care if we do our homework, do good or even pass with a good grade. There are very few teachers like Dr.Preston who actually care about us and what we do with our time or the problems we have at home. If only there was more teachers like Dr.Preston. More kids like me, in school wont suffer by throwing away their education if we had more involved teachers. Also if a student were in a room with another teacher who can help them with problems and grant them education it would relieve the burden off some students shoulders.

RESPECT MY AUTHORITY!!!!

To me the only authority that helps me are teachers and parents that actually help me do good in this world and help me achieve the life I want. The authority figures I think are bad are the police, our government, and our military. I think these authority figure are bad because they always cause problems for themselves and to us as civilians. Our government doesn't really care about us they just want the money that we as working people make everyday for the taxes they want.

Inciting incident

In the pedestrian the cop in the story started questioning Leonard what he was doing outside at night. But Leonard thought he was doing a normal thing but realty the normal thing people do in the city is stay home and sit down like statues watching TV. But the cop thought he was not ok mentally and took him to a mental hospital.

Mistakes for president

The debate was really funny I laugh at what Hillary and Trump had to say for those questions. It's also funny how the whole time they were just roasting each other. The debate was only them answering questions about modern day problems and how they will fix it and just straight roasting each other.

My Yoda

An ideal mentor is someone who helps you become the very best. He or she will teach you the ways of doing something to help you better to understand things. He or she will either teach you in their own way or use somethings that the mentor did wrong and make sure you don't fail too.This is what I think an ideal mentor should be. 👍

The common video game stereotype

Sometimes our parents think we just put our face on a screen and think," Well there he/she goes wasting time on that dang game again." And if I ask other gamers this they'll probably think the same. But really when we play we think on what to do, how to do it and finally pulling it off to see if it works. When we play we have a set of objectives to do in a specific way if not you will not complete it. Your constantly thinking how to do them. So play without judgement from others keep on playing if it helps with stress or just  for fun.

My Aeries

I really thought I was going to get a B or a C but I got a A-.  I really tried on processing the stories theme and syntax but I thought I didn't write enough so I made two body paragraphs one for each of the stories. But I tried my best and got the grade I really wanted. The work I've done for this course is work I can do with the time I have.

Young Goodman Brown

People back then just killed each other because they thought that they were a witch. This story is very tragic to Goodman brown. His wife and now his will to live is gone due to people being scared of witches.

The Conscience of a Hacker

The hacker is try to prove a point that every one can do what they want. He says that everyone has the right of looking through things that they are not allowed, due to curiosity.

Ancient Stories

1) The  language from the text is translated from its native language to English. The language that was originally told in is native American their language is more descriptive and it also is not spoken in slang like present day English.

2) I think it's important if the story is told word by word because it will change over time and will be slowly forgotten if not remembered exactly and it will lose its meaning.
